The Wanna Bet? Cast

Josh Brekhus
Josh is a native Californian and Arizona transplant. After earning a degree in business at ASU, he, on a whim, decided to take a stand up comedy class. Soon after that he caught the acting bug and began taking sketch comedy workshops as well. Not long after that first class he became a ?must see? performer at all comedy nightclubs in Arizona. He has appeared in commercials and TV shows, and is a founding member of The MyStudio Players. Josh has performed at the world famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles, and recently shared the stage in New York City at famed Gotham Comedy Club, where he performed with Jeanene Garafalo and Louis CK. Recently, Josh was the winner of the MyStudio /Gotham Comedy Challenge a nationwide comedy talent search where he competed with hundreds of other stand ups to take the national prize.

Nick Balke
A native Texan, Nick Balke was transferred to Arizona by an ice cream company. A onetime hot college baseball prospect, Nick found himself in a town where he knew no one and decided to do open mics as a way to meet people and make friends. Not long after that he was spotted by Wanna Bet Director, Tony Vicich, who encouraged him to try comedic acting as well. Soon Nick was a favorite sketch comedy player in Phoenix and standup comic in Los Angeles. A regular at The HaHa Comedy Club in Hollywood, Nick is also a founding member of The MyStudio Players.

Kevin Odea
Kevin Odea began his stand up comedy career when, on a dare, he entered a major comedy contest. He beat out dozens of veteran comics and made the finals, and almost took the whole thing. Soon after that, he partnered up with director and show promoter, Tony Vicich, to produce and perform in countless standup comedy shows and sketch comedy shows at the now gone, legendary Entertainment Alley. Along with Josh and Nick, he helped create Organized Chaos, a professional sketch comedy troupe that ran for two years. Kevin is a founding member of The MyStudio Players and his stand up and sketch comedy is regularly aired on mystudio.net.

Glenn Vrooman
Native Arizonan Glenn Vrooman plays ?Tiny.? One day while working at the parts department of a local car dealership, Glenn heard about a standup comedy seminar on the radio. Soon after that, Glenn was a regular performer at The Tempe Improv, the same club where David Spade got his start. He helped build and open Entertainment Alley and was one of the first performers to ever work that stage. Splitting his time between LA and Arizona, Glenn has appeared in sketches on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The HaHa Comedy Club, and The Melrose Improv. Along with his fellow cast members, he helped form The MyStudio Players.

Jon Jesmer
Long time standup comic Jon Jesmer is an Arizona native and credited by many as one the original creators of the vibrant Phoenix comedy scene. He has regularly performed at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, The HaHa Comedy Club, and has worked many times with Mad TV?s Bobby Lee. Jon is also a founding member of professional sketch troupe Organized Chaos, the first and original member of the comedyschools.com sketch players, a founding member and co director of The MyStudio Players.

Joanna Larsen
Talented enough to pull off two rolls in the first 5 episodes of Wanna Bet, Joanna is a veteran of both dramatic and comedic plays and sketches. Currently working with the underground comedy troupe The Sic Sense, Joanna was a long time leading cast member of the comedyschools.com sketch players and founder of professional comedy troupe Organized Chaos. Joanna also makes her own short films and sketches, one of which recently received over 500,000 hits on YouTube.

Tony Vicich
Starting out as a scholarship student with legendary acting coach Lee Strasberg, Tony soon found the comedy bug and worked fulltime for over fifteen years as a standup comic. During that time he wrote for many top comics, including Bill Hicks. He did over a dozen TV shows and was the creator and executive producer of TNN?S Comedy RoundUp, where he discovered Rodney Carrington, who went on to star in his own Comedy Central specials and an ABC sitcom.

Tony is the founder and owner of comedyschools.com, a comedy workshop that has had many of its clients go from workshop to Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show, and Last Comic Standing.

In 2004 Tony opened Entertainment Alley, where many of today?s budding young stars got their start. Along with being the comedy director of MyStudio.net, Tony created the MyStudio Players and the sketch troupe Organized Chaos. Tony can be heard on Phoenix AM1060 every Thursday as "Uncle Tony".
